And the Work Begins!

Today was the beginning of the creative flow! It was such an exciting day for me to be working full on again.  After lunch I took two 7 ½ foot pieces of paper to the amphitheater and began! I danced and danced, threw some graphite and water around and came up with a chaotic mess of a diptych.  This chaos was the beginning of the first diptych I have done. What a blast! It was lovely to have so much space to move and dance. I then brought the drawings up to the open yoga area and worked into them.  I was moved to use a new technique today, where I used straight lines as a dominant element in the composition. Working in a new way kept my creative juices flowing for five hours... And then DOWNPOUR!  I was completely drenched just from walking back to my room!
There is something about this place that is so healing and inspiring. I feel like the floodgates have opened and there is now turning back now. Let the flow begin!

One of my work spaces! And I thought I would be struggling to find space!
